Kleurrijke zeshoekige bijzettafel – beschilderd hout in Marokkaanse stijl - Side table - Wood - hexagonal side table

Colorful hexagonal side table – painted wood in Moroccan style

A small piece of furniture with a grand presence! This richly painted wooden side table immediately draws the eye with its geometric star pattern, pierced sides, and sparkling colors. Ochre yellow, dark green, turquoise, pink and gold accents form a particularly decorative whole.

The hexagonal top surface has a raised edge and a central star-shaped ornament. Beneath it, graceful turned spindles and decorative latticework alternate. The arched cutouts at the bottom give the small table an architectural character.

The painting recalls the Moroccan zouak tradition, in which wooden furniture and interior elements are adorned with geometric patterns and stylized floral motifs. A fitting stylistic comparison; the exact origin, maker and age of this piece have not been established.

A atmospheric focal point next to an armchair, as a pedestal for a beautiful vase, or as a colorful accent in a bohemian or eclectic interior. Even without further styling, this table has plenty of personality.
