Mara. J XL - Tourmaline Canopy

One time of pink leaves opens upward in a pale, velvety light, while below the color thickens into plum, wine, and deep purple. The matter is built layer by layer: impressions of overlapping leaves, a granular surface that traps light and returns it with delicacy. Small golden leaves punctuate the central area like sudden reflections. Thin stems and touches of aquamarine traverse the lower part, bringing freshness to the dominating warmth. A harmonious and serene image is born, suspended between the sweetness of light and the richness of depth.

Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid, suspended atmospheres, where color and luminosity shape the space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a vehicle for emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue.
