AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Requinto and Amati Kraslice clarinet Boehm system from Czechoslovakia. The wood has no cracks in any of the pieces. The clarinet has been restored and tested. (All pads new and springs reinforced, although there is a screw that has remained fixed and I couldn't loosen it, but it maintains playability.) Everything sounds, but it should be noted that it is very hard yet bright acoustically, which is typical of this old ebony, whether due to its acoustics or due to the lack of interior drilling in its manufacture. (Internal screw). The bell is composite and the barrel may not be original. (This one has a crack but it remains on the exterior, it does not leak and it performs its role very well. Not a crack.) Regarding the E-flat, it is a 'requinto' from the same batch, perhaps chronologically a little more advanced due to the nickel on the keys that began to be made toward the late 50s. This one in particular (the nickel) has small chips that are visible up close and with my glasses. Otherwise to tell you that it has been perfectly adjusted and its sound is exquisite and with the power of the Amatis, I won't say more. Some pads have been changed and the wood nourished. The pumping barrel is unique and gives it power and roundness that, compared with others I have had (not naming names), has no equal. The original bell is also composite and I am including two mouthpieces, one original and one generic. I ship the two in their respective original cases which, despite some scuffs visible in the photos, are still in good use. A lot for collecting or, as I always say, to enjoy playing (in my view it sounds very good, the requinto a bit better), noting that I am not offering it in excellent condition because it is not fully restored but it is worth it since it has no breaks or missing pieces. And I insist... they sound good. Good luck with the auction, always iconic and surprising from “Catawiki Auctions,” from M.I. Harbour with all my affection.
