French artist whose works have been presented in numerous exhibitions and publications in Europe, the Americas and Asia. His work has also been highlighted on British television Channel 4, in the show “Huge Homes with Hugh Dennis”.

His work is part of research into image, collective memory and the traces left by time. Drawing inspiration from 20th-century images, Bazévian explores their transformation, alteration and reinterpretation through a personal pictorial language.

Between collective memory and personal history, his work evokes images oxidized, erased or transformed by time. The gaze becomes presence, texture becomes light, and each image reactivated by imagination gradually becomes a new memory.

Bazévian thus develops a singular and sensitive universe, at the boundary between figuration and abstraction, where fragments of the past become the starting point of a contemporary and personal work.
