Beautiful advertising banner dedicated to linoleum, with the slogan “The best floor” and a scenographic figure of Harlequin at the center of the composition.
Note: This is a later edition probably from the 1970s.
The graphics are by Leonetto Cappiello, master of Italian illustrated advertising. The multi-colored figure stands out against a sumptuous decorated floor, creating a vivid contrast with the black background and the large red and ochre lettering. On the side also appears the brand “Linoleum – Marca Italia”.
An elegant and theatrical image, of great decorative strength, recalling the golden age of the advertising poster. A very interesting piece for collectors of Cappiello, Italian graphic design and posters dedicated to home furnishings and interior design.
The paper shows folds and signs of wear, visible in the photographs.
