The work is related to the European early 20th century impressionist landscape tradition, especially those painters interested in the direct capture of light and the spontaneous representation of gardens, paths and wooded spaces. The fragmented brushwork and the predominance of greens and yellows recall the luminous explorations derived from Impressionism and Mediterranean Post-Impressionism.
