AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Title: Midday Light
ㅤ
School: Impressionist School (20th century)
ㅤ
Style: Mediterranean Impressionism
ㅤ
Technique: Oil on panel
ㅤ
Condition: Generally good condition of conservation, with slight signs typical of its age.
ㅤ
Circle and artistic influence:
The work sits within Mediterranean landscape painting rooted in Impressionism, close to Spanish and Italian painters who during the 20th century developed a luminous painting, executed rapidly with visible brushwork. The intensity of the greens, the reddish roofs, and the clear sky reinforce its connection to plein air painting.
ㅤ
The composition represents a group of rural houses surrounded by lush vegetation, under intense daytime illumination. The foreground path leads toward the buildings, while the vegetation occupies a large part of the pictorial space with vigorous and impasto brushstrokes. The contrast between the illuminated areas and the greenish shadows effectively conveys the sensation of the noonday sun.
ㅤ
Golden wooden frame with simple and deep moulding, with a slightly aged finish.
ㅤ
Notes:
The artwork may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such a case, we will require photographs of the imperfections to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority.
ㅤ
Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by a surcharge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions, or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge under any circumstances.
ㅤ
The courier that must cross the Swiss border may be delayed far more than usual, so, if possible, to speed up processing, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so that the client can unlock it and thus reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties.
ㅤ
Due to the high volume of shipments, it is possible that the order is delayed by more than three days, so we apologize and thank you for your patience. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us via internal messaging.
