AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Title: The Fountain
School: Impresionist School (19th century)
Style: Architectural Impressionism
Technique: Oil on panel
Status: Condition of conservation in accordance with its age. It shows restorations.
Circle and artistic influence:
The work shows affinities with late 19th-century European painting dedicated to gardens, monumental courtyards and architectural spaces. The interest in reflections on water and the changing incidence of light brings its language closer to Impressionism, although it preserves an architectural construction still linked to academic approaches.
View of a monumental fountain located in an architectural setting of historical character. Columns, arches and ornamental elements are resolved with loose brushwork, while the water acts as a reflective surface of the vegetation and of the surrounding structures. The ochre, green and gray tones create an intimate and slightly melancholic atmosphere.
Gold wooden frame with classic molding, wide profile and aged finish.
Observations:
The work may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such case, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority.
Exceptional shipping costs may be affected by an surcharge due to reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions or weight of the item. PremiArt will in no case cover this surcharge.
Courier that must cross the Swiss border may be delayed much more than normal, so, if possible, to speed up the processing, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so that the customer can unblock it and thus reach its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties.
Due to the high volume of shipments it is possible that the order is delayed more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. Any questions about your order please contact us via internal messaging.
Dimensions: 32 × 38 cm
Dimensions with frame: 39 × 46 cm
