After World War II, he drew closer to poets such as Jacques Prévert and Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes, for whom he illustrated some works. His style gradually evolved from post-C Cubism toward a colorful abstraction, blending painting, printmaking, collage and mixed media techniques.

internationally recognized artist, he exhibited in Europe, the United States and Canada. He was notably awarded the title of Officer of Arts and Letters. His work is characterized by geometric compositions, harmonious colors and a synthesis between figuration and abstraction.
