Description from the seller
Rare and sought-after premium bottle from Domaine Allante et Boulanger, located in the heart of the Jura, one of France's most fascinating wine regions, between the villages of Rotalier and Digna.
Founded by Mathieu Allante and Christian Boulanger, two industry experts with long experience gained working at Domaine Labet, this project is the fruit of their shared passion for viticulture. After years of experience alongside the Labet, they decided to start their own winery, acquiring small plots on the region's best soils, cultivated according to biodynamic principles.
The Domaine spans vineyards situated on poor calcareous soils, with vines reaching up to 80 years old, ensuring high-quality grapes and low-yield viticulture that enhances flavor concentration. The Domaine Allante et Boulanger winemaking philosophy focuses on a minimalist and natural approach. The grapes are treated with great care: harvested by hand and gently pressed with a basket press, which dates back over a century. Fermentation is spontaneous and takes place without the use of added yeasts, in wooden barrels, to highlight the natural character of the fruit and terroir.
