Introduced in 2012, the Seiko Astron GPS Solar was the world's first watch to receive GPS satellite signals and adjust itself to the local time zone anywhere on earth, powered entirely by light. This example houses the original calibre 7X52 in a bold titanium case crowned with a black ceramic bezel, its deep black dial ringed by a city-and-UTC time zone track. Day-to-day legibility is excellent thanks to the large luminous indices, while the power reserve and signal indicator at ten o'clock and the 24-hour subdial at six reveal its technical character. Complete with its SEIKO ASTRON presentation box, it is a compelling piece of modern Japanese watchmaking history.

The watch is accompanied by its original SEIKO ASTRON box and watch pillow; please note that the box and the watch pillow show age-related deterioration, with marks and discolouration on the fabric-covered sleeve and wear to its edges and corners.
Case & Bezel: Fine scratches and light scuffs to the titanium case, lugs and pushers. The ceramic bezel shows minor wear, mainly along its lower edge.
