Larry Clark (1943–) - Supreme Calendar

Spiral calendar with shipping box, 57.5 x 38 cm, color photographs.

The large-format photos in this extravagant calendar were taken by Larry Clark in 2004 for Supreme. Lying down, straddling, or dangerously close to the products, Clark's models put their nude bodies on display in a monthly celebration of skateboarding. Printed in 2,000 copies, 1,500 were reserved for the Japanese market and 500 were available in the United States. The edition sold out quickly.

This one is particularly rare as it is a "misprint"—the calendar days are offset from the year of its release. I bought it from a former Supreme employee who worked at the time in one of the brand’s stores and who had received this calendar as a gift since it could not be sold to the general public with this printing error.
