Offered here is an original vintage Ray-Ban Xrays X3 W2220 sunglasses model from the Bausch & Lomb (B&L) era, dating from the 1990s.
The sunglasses feature a distinctive aerodynamic wrap-around / shield-style design, a black sporty frame and a large one-piece lens with an attractive blue mirrored appearance.
The original Ray-Ban logo is visible on the lens. The inside of the frame is clearly marked “B&L RAY-BAN”, while the temple carries the Xrays / X3 markings.

Ray-Ban Bausch & Lomb Xrays X3
The Xrays X3 represents one of the more unusual and futuristic designs produced during the Bausch & Lomb era of Ray-Ban.
Unlike the better-known Aviator and Wayfarer models, the Xrays series was aimed at a more sporting and performance-oriented aesthetic, with an aerodynamic wrap-around construction and a large shield-type lens.
The design is particularly characteristic of the late 1980s / early 1990s sports-eyewear style, when wrap-around and shield sunglasses became increasingly popular for cycling, outdoor activities and other sports.
