OMEGA VINTAGE WRISTWATCH (SWITZERLAND, 1950s/60s):
We present at auction an authentic and elegant Omega dress watch from the mid-20th century. A timepiece that encapsulates the minimalist and timeless design of Swiss watchmaking of the era.

The case, of [Introduce crown-less diameter] mm, features classic, very elegant proportions. It is built with a front gold-plated surface and a stainless steel case back, a common combination of the time to offer beauty and durability. Its original crown stands out, beautifully embossed with the unmistakable Omega logo (Ω).

The dial, clean and without a date, has applied baton indexes in gold tone and slim hands to match. It houses inside a Swiss-made manual-wind mechanical movement.

Condition (Expert Review)
Payers/watch bidders are asked to carefully observe the photographic gallery, which constitutes a fundamental part of the description. The watch shows the patina of its more than 60 years of history:

Dial: It presents a “tropicalization” or uniform speckled patina across its surface, a natural aging effect highly valued by vintage watch collectors for its authenticity.

Case and Crystal: The case shows nicks and micro-scratches typical of historical use, with slight wear to the plating on the lugs. The acrylic (plexi) crystal is in generally good visual condition. The signed crown operates correctly.

Bracelet: Fitted with a brown-toned leather strap with a gold buckle (replacement non-Omega-signed item) with evident signs of wear.

Movement: (Note: As this is a vintage watch, its last service date is unknown. Although it functions, for optimal daily use and to guarantee accuracy, a cleaning and lubrication by a professional watchmaker is always recommended. Water resistance is not guaranteed.
