I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today my works are almost exclusively created on paper. This more compact and calmer working method aligns not only with my creative process but also serves as a response to health challenges. It suits my daily life and gives me space to focus entirely on the subject.

My works often appear in small series and in changing styles – for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga, and since the 1990s I have been working professionally – with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality – beings that carry a little story within them. Sometimes quirky, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handmade original – painted with care, humor and heart. Perhaps one of them speaks to you.
