André Verdet (1913–2004) is a French poet, painter and artist, born in Nice. A resistance fighter during World War II, he was deported to Buchenwald. After the war, he settled in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, where he associated with many artists, notably Picasso, Braque, Chagall and Matisse.

His work combines poetry, painting and visual arts. He is particularly known for his poetic writings and his collaborations with the great artists of the École de Nice. He died in Saint-Paul-de-Vence in 2004.
