Jean Amiot (born in 1920) is a French painter of the 20th century, primarily known for his oil paintings and gouaches. His work is largely devoted to landscapes and maritime scenes, especially ports and coasts of Brittany, as well as the landscapes of Normandy and still lifes. 

Among the subjects recorded are Breton ports, fishing boats, snowy landscapes and Norman villages. Several works are dated from the 1960s to the 1980s, evidence of artistic activity pursued over several decades.

Jean Amiot (né en 1920) est un peintre français du XXᵉ siècle, principalement connu pour ses peintures à l’huile et ses gouaches. Son œuvre est largement consacrée aux paysages et scènes maritimes, notamment aux ports et côtes de Bretagne, ainsi qu’aux paysages de Normandie et aux natures mortes. 

Parmi les sujets recensés figurent des ports bretons, des bateaux de pêche, des paysages de neige et des villages normands. Plusieurs œuvres sont datées des années 1960 à 1980, témoignant d’une activité artistique poursuivie sur plusieurs décennies.
