Who is Pope?

Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a unique artistic universe grounded in hands-on visual arts since childhood, a strong attention to detail and a meticulous visual exploration. Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and wonder-filled gaze, attentive to both simplicity and the complexity of the world around him.

Pope mostly draws inspiration from the world around him but also through currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
