Description from the seller
Bracelet - Memento Mori - The Seat of the Soul, the Spirit, and Human Consciousness.
Bracelet with a commanding presence, made of wide interlaced links, crafted in a silver alloy with a deliberately antiqued finish.
Its construction alternates bold-link sections with five skulls sculpted in high relief, finely executed. The deeply hollowed eye sockets, detailed dentition, and pronounced contours give each skull a remarkable presence and emphasize the sculptural character of the whole.
The links are also adorned with chased and striated decorations, adding depth to the bracelet. The silver finish is highlighted by an antique black patina, deliberately present in the recesses and reliefs to enhance contrasts and showcase every detail.
The reverse, more understated, reveals the generous construction of the wide interlaced links. The bracelet is completed by a massive claps-on clasp, in harmony with its robust aesthetics.
Specifications:
Length - 23 cm
Size of links - skulls in relief - dimensions: 20 x 16 x 11 mm
Silver alloy - Antique black patina
Massive claps-on clasp
Weight: 84.12 g
A presentation box will be included.
Photos are an integral part of the description.
Note,
- Memento Mori,
The skull is one of the most emblematic historical symbols of Memento Mori, a Latin expression inviting reflection on the ephemeral nature of existence.
Beyond its striking appearance, it evokes the fleeting nature of time, the vanity of material things, and the awareness of the human condition. An ancient symbolism that turns the skull into an invitation to value the present moment more.
