AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Black Tide - @CanisterCrafts
The composition measures 120 × 60 cm and was inspired by waves and the shoreline during a completely dark night. The gradual changes in the diameter and placement of the wooden pieces create the movement of the composition.
After assembly, the entire surface was treated with direct flame, naturally darkening and burning the wood while leaving the grain and cutting marks visible. The spaces between the wooden elements were finished with matte black paint to create a continuous dark background.
The artwork was then sealed with clear matte protective coats. This protects the burned surface while preserving the original texture and appearance of the wood.
