Description from the seller
Tombak with the the rare Dapur Wayang with pamor pedaringan kebak. It has a beautiful contrast in the Damaskus steel with the pamor. The wilah is very old, the length of the blade is 25 cm(!). The total length of the tombak is incl peksi 54cm. It comes with custom made stand on which it reaches a height of 56cm.
Pamor Pedaringan Kebak closely resembles Pamor Beras Wutah. The difference is that the detail ornaments are much smaller and more intricate, and moreover, cover the entire surface of the blade from edge to edge. The magical power of Pamor Pedaringan Kebak is more or less equal to that of Pamor Beras Wutah; however, Pamor Pedaringan Kebak is regarded more highly and is therefore one of the highly sought-after Pamor motifs.
Although this piece shows signs of use it has fantastic rich decoration. combined with its elegant design, make it an ethnographic object of great interest.
