Tasting:
This wine presents a very beautiful deep, intense color.
The nose is complex with notes of dark fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant. It also opens up to spices on aeration: pepper and licorice.
The palate is broad on the attack with great roundness, with notes of stewed red fruits; then the tannins arrive, revealing a very nice texture. The finish is marked by spices and freshness with a menthol touch, giving the wine a very nice length.

Food pairing:
Ribeye with marrow, beef in its own jus, duck and roasted poultry, confits or in salmis, navarin of lamb or spring veal sauté, roasted boar leg or venison saddle, Brie de Meaux, fermented cheeses.
