Phurba with centrally cut Varja - Antique - crystal / bronze / bone - 1980-1990 - Handmade

Gorgeous rare Tibetan Kartika Vajra dagger, handmade Art Deco

The Tibetan Kartika (or Kartri), combined with a Vajra (Dorje) handle, is an extremely rare and powerful ritual instrument from Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayana). It is known as the 'knife of the dakini' and is used to symbolically cut through illusions, ignorance, and negative forces.
The blade cuts through ego and worldly bonds, while the vajra destroys ignorance. It is an attribute of wrathful deities (such as Mahakala and Vajrayogini).
Used, among other things, in tantric rituals, meditation practice (especially the Chöd practice) and as an altar object
