Description

Rare promotional dossier / press kit dedicated to the Le Choucas series by Christian Lax, published by Editions Dupuis within the Repérages collection.
It is not a standard comic published for sale in bookstores.
A note printed in the work specifies:
« This album cannot be sold. It constitutes the dossier of the “Choucas”, intended for booksellers and journalists. »
This promotional document presents, in particular, the universe of Le Choucas, its author Christian Lax, as well as a bibliography of his various works.
Large original dedication
The copy is enriched with a substantial original dedication by Christian Lax, drawn in pencil on a full yellow page.
The drawing depicts Le Choucas in a portrait, with particularly detailed work on the face and shadows. The dedication is personalized and accompanied by Lax’s signature.
It is a true full-page original drawing and not merely a signature.

Condition
Good to very good overall condition, given the promotional nature and the age of the work.
Some small signs of handling and marks on the cover, the boards, and the corners are visible in the photographs. Interior well preserved and the original drawing in very good condition.
