Rosalia II

Acrylic on canvas · 65 × 105 cm

Rosalia II is an abstract painting full of movement and warmth. Layers of rose, crimson and soft blush overlap in broad sweeps and finer textured marks, while flashes of deep blue and turquoise break through the surface. Some passages feel delicate and almost translucent; others are bold and immediate. The contrast gives the painting its energy and invites the eye to keep discovering details.

Part of the Rosalia series, this work explores how colour can hold both tenderness and intensity. Its generous horizontal format makes it a striking piece for a living space, while its layered surface rewards a closer look.
