Classic master violin by violin maker Franz Wilfer, Nauheim, Germany, 1990. Master craftsman trained in Mittenwald. Instrument with a transparent, high-gloss finish in a warm golden amber tone with reddish nuances. The instrument features superbly executed three-piece purfling and elegantly carved F-holes. The distinctive headstock ends with a deeply carved, sculptural scroll. The instrument is equipped with an elegant boxwood fittings, consisting of hill-shaped volutes with light decorative pins and rings, as well as a color-matched chinrest and tailpiece. The chinrest has been replaced, and both the original and a second chinrest are included. The instrument is well-strung and ready to play. Bow and luxurious case as well as a shoulder rest included. Light scratches on the back (from the shoulder rest) can be easily repaired.
