Inspired by Christmas traditions and the world of the famous ballet The Nutcracker, The Nutcracker offers a contemporary interpretation of a quintessential character from fairy tales and childhood imagination.
With his military uniform, his imposing headdress and his distinctive mustache, the little soldier seems to stand guard at the boundary between dream and reality. Behind his solemn expression lies a wonderful universe where toys come to life and where magic transforms the most familiar objects into extraordinary characters.

Technique
Each drawing begins with an almost imperceptible imprint, made with a round nib. This first reference allows me to prepare the composition while preserving the white of the paper.
Next comes the Bic blue ballpoint pen. The curved, spontaneous, and interwoven lines accumulate and overlap to gradually bring form, volume, and contrast to life. The density of the strokes builds the shadows and reveals the depth of the drawing, while the white spaces preserve light and balance of the composition.
The corrections of the line may reveal small ink dots, witnesses of the manual gesture and an integral part of the artwork.
It is in this meeting between precision and spontaneity that my work expresses itself: a controlled construction, carried by the freedom of the stroke.
Authenticity
Each Toons Renaissance drawing is a unique original artwork, entirely handmade and existing in a single copy (1/1). It is neither a print nor a reproduction.
The work is signed, authentic with the atelier seal, and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
Presentation and shipping
Each original drawing is delivered in a rigid Beaux-Arts conservation sleeve, designed to protect and transport the work safely (ideal for a move to a framer, a handover, a gift, or careful storage).
