Japanese-Imported Bronze Vase | Takaoka Copperware: Blue-Glazed Bronze with Gold Leaf Flecks
Cast from solid bronze with substantial weight; height approximately 21.2 cm.
Features a rounded, full silhouette with a flared rim and bulbous body—a classic *Yuhuchun* (jade spring vase) shape.
The bronze body features a blue-purple oxidized finish with a natural texture, accented by hand-applied, irregular gold leaf flecks that resemble scattered gold amidst drifting clouds; the finish exudes a premium quality that plays beautifully with light and shadow.
Excellent condition—near-mint, with only minor surface scratches and no cracks or chips.
Suitable for Japanese *Ikebana* (flower arranging), interior décor, or as a collectible antique bronze piece; it perfectly evokes a vintage Japanese aesthetic.
