Scuola italiana (XX), da Rubens - Autoritratto di Peter Paul Rubens

Italian School (XX), by Rubens

Self-portrait of the great Flemish Master Peter Paul Rubens

Unique work of high value with verso bearing signature and stamp

Magnificent, sought-after and precious painting, this piece is loaded with pathos and elegance, with exquisite technique, the magnetism of great works, enveloping color rendering, and the soft, skilled lines and brushstrokes masterfully executed, which bring us a face in perfect pose and an expressiveness that only the great Masters can perceive and realize

Painted with a surprising visual effect, which certainly the attentive and farsighted collector will not miss

The painting, whose canvas alone measures 35 x 30 cm, is surrounded by a wonderful period gilded wooden frame. This is in nearly perfect condition apart from a very small missing bit in the lower left corner and is still to be considered a courtesy; no objections will be accepted regarding this.

The colors are exciting, elegant and convincing and are almost identical to reality but may differ very slightly in person as they depend on the display settings of your device and any reflections of light.

The photographs and the description are integral parts of the exhibit and understanding of the lot
