Échezeaux belongs to the famous Grand Cru vineyards of the Côte de Nuits and lies between the prestigious vineyards of Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot. The climat “En Orveaux” is in the northern part of the appellation, close to some of the most legendary terroirs of Burgundy.

Domaine Faiveley, founded in 1825, is one of the historic and renowned producers of Burgundy. The estate owns an impressive number of its own vineyards and is known for wines that combine structure and depth with elegance and excellent aging potential.

The Échezeaux Grand Cru 2017 “En Orveaux” is made entirely from Pinot Noir. The wine displays the refined character expected of a great Côte de Nuits Grand Cru: red and dark fruit, cherries, raspberries and berries, complemented by floral notes, fine spices, earthy nuances and subtle wood. With further bottle age, increasingly complex tertiary aromas develop.
