Rare and refined hard evening coin purse (minaudière / clutch purse compact) signed GUCCI, entirely made in solid sterling silver. This splendid collectible object perfectly embodies the geometric elegance and timeless luxury of the Florentine maison from its golden age. The rigid body features a finely worked ribbed/mille-raie finish on the outer surface, giving it shine and protecting the piece from handling scratches.
The design is characterized by a central double-opening, governed by a snap closure topped with two glossy domed beads mounted on hinged pins.
Inside there are two main cylindrical-shaped compartments separated, originally ideal for containing makeup or cigarettes, and a further internal spring-loaded flap that seals one of the sub-compartments.
The factory trademark "Gucci" and the silver hallmark stamp "925" are clearly impressed on the inner metal/border of the mounting.
The piece presents in splendid vintage overall condition. Closure mechanisms and hinges snap perfectly and are cohesive. Interior clean with a slight natural patina of silver oxidation that can be polished at the buyer's discretion. No major structural dents detected.
