Preserved in honest condition, it features the renowned Caliber 565 automatic movement and retains its original etched acrylic crystal, making it an appealing reference 166.037 SP for enthusiasts of classic watch design.

The dial presents a clean and attractive silver sunburst finish in well-preserved condition. Applied baton indices feature black inserts that coordinate perfectly with the stick hands, while the dial typography remains crisp. Minor spotting is visible only under macro magnification. The original stick hands contain luminous material and display visible oxidation and aging on their metal surfaces, particularly noticeable on the minute hand.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case exhibits honest vintage wear, with light surface scratches present throughout. The lugs retain decent geometry while showing signs of normal wear expected from a watch of this era. A smooth steel bezel frames the dial, displaying light surface scratches consistent with the rest of the case. The caseback features the traditional hippocampus engraving, which is heavily worn and faint. The watch is fitted with a knurled crown that is clearly signed with the Omega logo. Above the dial sits a clear, domed acrylic crystal with minimal surface wear, notably retaining the original Omega logo etched in its center.
