Dial and Hands
The dial is highly attractive and well-preserved, featuring a clean matte grey surface that provides a perfect backdrop for the applied indices with their gold-tone surrounds. The luminous material has aged to a warm, even patina, complementing the crisp printing across the dial. The gold-tone Mercedes style hands are in excellent matching condition, with luminous fill that matches the dial patina perfectly and no significant oxidation visible.

Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case features a matte and sandblasted finish, displaying moderate scratches, handling marks, and some dirt accumulation in the crevices, presenting honest wear consistent with age and use. The distinctive dodecagonal bezel exhibits heavy wear and loss to the gold-tone plating, alongside numerous scratches, scuffs, and some loss of black paint in the engraved numerals. The gold-tone crown shows visible wear and is clearly signed with the TAG Heuer shield logo. The flat crystal is clear, with no significant scratches or chips visible.

Movement
The watch is powered by a clean quartz movement, specifically the 7-jewel caliber 955.414. The movement displays crisp engravings reading TAG HEUER 1.89, 955.414, SEVEN 7 JEWELS, and SWISS V8. A battery is present, and there is no visible corrosion or battery leak damage.

Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed two-tone jubilee-style bracelet, accommodating a maximum wrist size of 18.5 cm. The bracelet presents as worn but structurally sound, showing significant wear and plating loss on the gold-tone center links. The clasp exhibits scratches and is properly finished with a signed TAG Heuer clasp.

Good vintage condition. The watch displays honest wear consistent with age and use. The stainless steel case shows moderate scratches and handling marks, while the dodecagonal bezel and two-tone bracelet exhibit heavy wear, scuffs, and significant gold-tone plating loss. Conversely, the matte grey dial and matching Mercedes hands are in excellent, highly attractive condition with a beautiful, even tritium patina. The flat crystal remains clear, and the quartz movement is clean with no visible corrosion.

History
Introduced in the 1980s, the TAG Heuer 3000 Series had a relatively short production run of just over five years. The watch features a unique twelve-sided bezel with small projecting balls on each facet to enhance grip. Reference 934.213 is powered by the 7-jewel quartz caliber 955.414. In 1989, TAG Heuer updated the dial design of the series by removing the 3000 text and introducing their color logo, making these earlier iterations distinct markers of the brand's transitional era.
