Dial and Hands
The watch features a well-preserved gold-tone dial with a distinct speckled, textured finish that catches the light beautifully. The applied indices are filled with tritium luminous material that has aged evenly to a warm, creamy tone. Crisp black printed text and a sharp minute track provide excellent legibility against the textured background. The classic Mercedes-style hands feature luminous inserts that perfectly match the color of the dial indices. Under macro inspection, the metal frames of the hands display light, age-appropriate oxidation. There is no visible moisture damage or significant flaws, leaving the dial with an attractive texture and even patina.

Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case features a mix of brushed and polished finishes, presenting honest wear consistent with regular use, including moderate scratches and scuffs on the flanks. Some dirt and grime buildup is visible around the caseback perimeter. The case is topped by a gold-tone unidirectional rotating bezel equipped with steel rider tabs. The bezel shows visible plating wear and fading on the outer edges and gold-tone sections, alongside scratches and handling marks throughout. The gold-tone screw-down crown is clearly signed with the TAG Heuer shield emblem and displays plating wear on its knurled edges. A flat crystal protects the dial and appears clear, with no significant scratches, chips, or crazing visible.

Movement
Inside is the TAG Heuer caliber 3.88 quartz movement, featuring seven jewels. The movement presents a clean overall appearance with a visible battery and copper coil, showing no visible corrosion or battery leakage. The factory engravings, including TAG HEUER 3.88, V8, SWISS, and SEVEN 7 JEWELS, remain crisp and clear across the components.

Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed two-tone stainless steel and gold-tone jubilee-style bracelet. The endlinks are stamped 307/3, and the folding clasp is signed with the TAG Heuer shield. The bracelet shows typical plating wear on the gold-tone center links, along with moderate scratches and scuffs on the clasp and steel links. The bracelet accommodates a maximum wrist size of 16cm.

Condition
Good vintage condition. The watch displays honest wear consistent with regular use, including moderate scratches on the case and typical plating wear on the bezel, crown, and bracelet center links. The dial remains in excellent condition, well-preserved with an attractive texture and even patina on the luminous elements. The crystal is clear, and the quartz movement is clean and intact.
