Author / Attribution: Signature engraved on the lateral edge: "Arthur Bertola (1875–1931)."
Era: Late 19th century (Late 1800s).
Material: Art plaster / original studio maquette (hollow base from casting/foundry).
Dimensions: Height 42 cm × Width 33 cm × Depth 15 cm.
Conditions: In generally good vintage condition. Shows evident patina of time, chipping and surface erosions concentrated on the base and edges (as clearly visible in the photographs), which attest to its authenticity and age.

Signed plaster works of this quality represent interesting evidence of the artist's creative process and Lombard realism of the nineteenth century. The estimated value of the piece and the presence of the original signature justify the inclusion of the reserve price.
