Authentic Armenian Kazakh rug from 1931

Beautiful central field with a handsome medallion

The border is very beautiful and rich in motifs and noble colors (evident browning/corrosion of the brown color).

Corners dated 1931, rich in stylized motifs of animals and flowers

Very elegant

Wool on wool, with the warp partly made of light sheep wool and partly of dark wool (brown).

Some flaws, as visible in the photo (one corner slightly creased and the upper edge a bit worn...)

Some areas of the side edges show signs of wear

The vivid red of the central field is splendid, as is the blue.

Overall, a very pleasing piece.
