ABOUT THE ARTIST

Bri Debernardi is a French contemporary painter based in Provence, whose work is distinguished by a strong pictorial identity, remarkable mastery of color, and sophisticated handling of matter and movement. Nurtured by a life between Europe, South America and Africa, her painting blends the intensity of South American colors with Mediterranean light. Layering, transparencies, scrapes and contrasts compose works rich in depth, each detail unique and impossible to reproduce identically.
Her work subtly explores the boundary between balance and rupture, control and spontaneity, emergence and disappearance, leaving a great freedom of interpretation to the viewer.
Her works, particularly her large-format pieces with a strong visual presence, are shown in exhibitions and art events in France and internationally, notably in Cannes, Rome, Milan, London, and have joined private collections in several countries.

PRESENTATION OF THE CANVAS

The work is painted beyond the final indicated format in order to allow mounting on a frame without a frame: once the canvas is stretched, the paint naturally extends onto the sides of the frame.

It can thus be presented as is or completed with a frame according to your interior.

Important: the canvas is sold rolled, without stretcher and without frame.
The photographs showing the work stretched, framed or installed in an interior are stylized presentations intended to illustrate its display.

UNDERSTANDING THE DIMENSIONS

The dimensions of the shipped canvas are larger than the final format indicated to maintain the margin necessary for a frame.
Typically, allow about 4 to 7.5 cm of margin on each side, depending on the format of the work.
Example: a bare canvas of 145 cm × 145 cm is intended to be mounted on a frame of about 130 × 130 cm, leaving 7.5 cm on each side for proper tension.

The work is prepared and shipped directly by the studio within the usual period of 3 business days.
Transit times then vary according to the destination country and the carrier and may, for certain destinations, reach about 12 days after shipment.
Each work is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity, stating the title, date and the artist’s signature.
