Original one‑of‑a‑kind acrylic on canvas by C. del Barrio titled “¿De qué te pavoneas? (What Are You Showing Off?)”, 70 × 90 cm, Cubist‑influenced figurative painting signed by the artist, created in 2026 in Spain, delivered unmounted and unframed with a certificate of authenticity, condition excellent, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
What are you showing off? is a contemporary figurative painting that explores vanity, self-image and the playful relationship we have with our own identity.
The central figure appears confident and self-assured, almost as if caught in a moment of deliberate display. Through simplified forms, expressive black lines and vibrant colour, the artist creates a character that seems to challenge the viewer: What are you so proud of? What are you showing off?
The work combines elements of cubist fragmentation with figurative abstraction, creating an intentionally imperfect and expressive image. The posture and attitude of the figure introduce a touch of irony and humour, inviting the viewer to reflect on appearance, confidence and the need to be seen.
Rather than offering a single interpretation, the painting leaves the question open. Is the figure being vain, celebrating itself, or simply enjoying the freedom to be exactly who it is?
An original one-of-a-kind artwork, signed by C. del Barrio.

About the Artist
C. Del Barrio is a Spanish multidisciplinary artist whose work lies between contemporary Cubism and figurative abstraction. Initially trained in the Arts, she has developed her career as a painter alongside her international career as a classical singer.
Her artistic language explores identity, emotion and transformation through colour, imperfect geometry, line and symbolism. Her figures, often fragmented, simplified or hybridised, move away from literal representation to create images that remain open to different interpretations.
Her work combines structure and spontaneity, recognisable forms and abstraction, with particular attention to gesture, balance and expressiveness. Faces and figures do not seek idealised perfection, but rather aim to convey presence, character and emotion.
She currently works from Spain, creating original paintings on canvas for private collections and contemporary spaces.
