“Yellow Fields” – Oil on canvas
This work belongs to the Imaginary Landscapes series, one of the most recognizable themes of my painting research.
In the composition, the boundary between reality and dream becomes thin: under an intense blue sky, the yellow and green fields lead the eye toward a house flanked by a tree with luminous green tones. The clouds seem to accompany it, creating a stark contrast with the cobalt sky. In the foreground, a cypress in red tones rises above the ochre-yellow and acidic greens, guiding the gaze toward the house in the background. The bright colors, the essential geometric forms, and the suspended atmosphere give the painting a metaphysical and contemplative character. It results in a poetic and evocative work, capable of enhancing even the most intimate spaces.
