Classified as a Premier Cru Classé of Graves in 1855, and the only one among the wines of the Médoc, Château Haut-Brion is the jewel of the Pessac-Léognan appellation and known as the oldest of the Bordeaux Grands Crus. Owned by the Dillon family since 1935, the vineyard is located in the commune of Pessac, a few kilometers southwest of Bordeaux. Its wines are characterized first by their discretion and restraint, and then by their unique signature, an expression of their terroir.
