I am AniB – an artist with Latvian roots, living in Germany since 1990.
Today my works almost exclusively on paper. This more compact and calmer way of working suits not only my creative process but is also a response to health challenges. It fits well with my daily life and gives me the space to fully focus on the subject.

My works often emerge in small series and in changing styles — for me, art lives on curiosity, not repetition.
I studied art and illustration in Riga, and since the 1990s I have worked professionally — with exhibitions at home and abroad.

I love creating characters with personality — beings that carry a small story in themselves. Sometimes whimsical, sometimes quietly contemplative, often with a wink.

Each of my works is a handcrafted original — painted with care, humor and heart. Perhaps one of them speaks to you.
