An original contemporary watercolour painting capturing the vivid coastal charm of southern Spain. Titled Manilva Seascape, Andalusia, this artwork combines lush Mediterranean foliage, including palmettos and gnarled branches, with stylized turquoise sea rhythms under a softly lit, dusky violet sky.
This piece is part of an exclusive series created while the artist lived in Andalusia, directly inspired by the region's unique light, coastal landscapes, and rich natural flora. Executed with dynamic brushwork and a vibrant palette of deep greens, rich purples, and warm terracottas, the artwork brings an atmospheric and expressive energy to classic Spanish coastal scenery.

About the Artist
Kirsty Wain is a British painter currently living and working in Spain. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape, her work offers an expressive, emotive interpretation of the surrounding environment. Drawing strong inspiration from Post-Impressionism and the bold colour theory of Fauvism, Wain uses vibrant hues, textured application, and fluid line work to capture the intrinsic energy, spirit, and light of a location. Her paintings, frequently focused on ancient olive groves, hillside pines, and sweeping terrains—seek to translate fleeting personal moments and deep emotional ties to place directly onto the canvas.
Wain’s distinct visual language continues to gain international visibility, and her paintings are held in private collections around the world.
