Tappeto Pao Tou (157x95 cm), a hand-knotted collectible piece, rare, dating to around 1900.

Motifs and colors are breathtaking, with echoes of Tibetan style.

The rug shows excellent pile thickness; you can notice the variation in shade of the brown wool (a typical sign of the use of organic dyes).

Very compact and heavy rug, of excellent craftsmanship.

Shows signs of wear consistent with its age and a few small restoration interventions.
