"The Pop Art Icon's series" is designed as a homage to the great names of the 1960s–1990s. Famous motifs are interwoven and reinterpreted. No. 1 is a reinterpretation of the famous "Numbers" by Robert Indiana, with Barnes playing with the alteration of form through arbitrary motifs.
As a graduate of the UdK Berlin, Toni Barnes has devoted her oeuvre to sculpture. The theme of art in space in 2D and 3D is also reflected in her painting, which deals exclusively with the play of light and shadow. Barnes currently lives and works in Berlin.
