Particular Hamilton Lloyd Chronograph ref. 6319, a Swiss Made chronograph characterized by a large rectangular steel case and a design that combines Art Deco elements with a contemporary sporty setting. The case measures 35.5 × 48 mm and features a highly recognizable architectural construction, with four circular elements at the corners, integrated lugs, and large rectangular chronograph pushers. The case back is secured by four screws and clearly bears the markings Hamilton, 6319, Stainless Steel and Water Resistant 50M. The black/antracite dial is adorned with a subtle horizontal brushed finish and features applied Arabic numerals, three geometrically shaped chronograph sub-dials, and a date window at 3 o’clock. The arrangement of the sub-dials and the shape of the case give the watch a strong presence on the wrist and an aesthetic decidedly different from Hamilton’s traditional round chronographs. The piece is currently fitted with a 20 mm cognac-colored leather strap, not original.
