Anonyme - Missel Romain - 1889

Dijon, Antoine Maitre, 1889 ;
in-12 bound in full green morocco, spine with raised bands, the top board adorned with a finely carved metal plaque, gold monogram on the bottom board, gilded edges, inner dentelle, frontispiece and a handsome title-frontispiece, a rich border in a right-angled frame on each page, three full-page engravings, 576 pages.
I think an old owner of the missal began to illuminate it but did not finish??
Beautiful binding
