Domaine de Trévallon 2010, a 0.75 litre bottle from the Alpilles region in France, IGP, produced by Domaine de Trévallon, with one bottle.
Description from the seller
Domaine de Trévallon 2010, produced in Provence under the appellation IGP Alpilles (Indication Géographique Protégée). Created by the visionary Éloi Dürrbach, Trévallon has become an absolute icon of wines of the South of France due to its unique identity and its superb aging potential.
Grapes: An atypical blend in equal parts 50% Syrah and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is precisely this historical choice of Cabernet Sauvignon (rejected by the AOC Les Baux-de-Provence) that forced the estate to downgrade its wines to "Vin de Pays" / IGP, paradoxically making its worldwide renown.
Terroir: Limestone, clayey and extremely stony soil on the northern slopes of the Alpilles. The 2010 vintage: A year characterized by very low yields but with exceptional power and depth. Critics generally attribute excellent scores (for example, a superb 94+/100 by Robert Parker / Wine Advocate).
Taste profile: A very complex bouquet mixing dark ripe fruits (blackberry, blueberry), spices, wild garrigue, white pepper, black truffle and evolved notes of leather. On the palate, the structure features silky yet firm tannins with remarkable aromatic freshness.
This bottle will be sent to you with care by Belgian Post, with tracking and insurance.
