The bottle was purchased in 2026 as part of a private household liquidation in Koblenz, Germany.
According to the provenance provided, the bottle comes from a first-hand private collection and was stored in the owner's own cellar under cool, dry conditions and lying down.
Since acquisition, the bottle has been permanently stored in a temperature-controlled wine refrigerator at 12°C.
The collection includes several vintages and bottles from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Château Mouton Rothschild, some of which are also being offered at auction.
