Plant table - Bamboo - 1920 Japonism

Extraordinary antique bamboo plant table or tall side table in a style influenced by Japonism and the Aesthetic Movement, dating to around 1920. The filigree frame is made of bamboo with curved decorative struts and flared feet. The rectangular top features a braided inlay; underneath there are two staggered square shelves with decorative inlays and pronounced age patina.

The asymmetric construction and the numerous craftsmanship details make the table a striking standalone piece for plants, decoration, or as a side table.
