The music is written in square notation on a four-line staff (four red lines), typical of liturgical books printed or manuscript dating from the late Middle Ages. Inside the large G (10.5 × 8.5 cm) there is depicted a host of saints and blessed ones looking upward in prayer, visually recalling the meaning of the feast on November 1.
